El Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados ha reunido diferentes testimonios de niños, niñas y adolescentes originarios de El Salvador, Guatemala y Honduras, también conocido como el Triángulo Norte de Centroamérica (TNCA), que han sido víctimas de la violencia y la persecución de las pandillas o “maras.”
Los audios señalados en cada mapa relatan diferentes extractos de entrevistas con menores refugiados y desplazados internos del TNCA, que nos cuentan cómo es crecer en su país de origen, los retos y peligros que han tenido que afrontar, la travesía que han emprendido, sus miedos, su nueva vida en el país de asilo, lo que más extrañan de su país y sus sueños para el futuro.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has collected a series of testimonies from children and adolescents from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, also known as the Northern Triangle of Central America (NTCA), who have been victims of violence and persecution by gangs or “maras.”
The audios available on each map are extracts from interviews with young refugees and internally displaced persons from the NTCA, who tell us about their upbringing in their country of origin, the challenges and dangers they have faced, the journeys they have embarked on, their fears, their new lives in the country of asylum, what they miss the most of their homes, and their dreams for the future.
